Via Sneaker Files, & Nike Air Yeezy'sThe Nike Air Yeezy (Kanye West signature shoes) will release starting in the spring of 2009. Sneaker Files has confirmed that the majority of Air Yeezy styles and colorways will be limited releases. The Air Yeezy is inspired by Kanye West’s favorite shoes, notably the Air Jordan III (used for the Yeezy mid-sole makeup). The Air Yeezy is highlited with glow in the dark accents which streak through the Nike Swoosh and Jordan III inspired mid-sole.
Nike Air Yeezy Highs have appeared in over 4 color ways during media shoots and public appearances. The Kanye West shoe will be made in premium leather with perforated air hole breathing in the upper body split of the shoe. Straps across the mid body of the Air Yeezy will be in patent leather on most the releases. The strap will end with a glow in the dark, transparent, logo bubble that's made to catch the shoe laces.
