According to XXL, Kanye wants to announce his new album this weekend at the MTV Video Music Awards. Ye's management told XXL that the rapper will announce the new set this Sunday night (September 7) during his performance at the VMAs in Los Angeles.
West will close out the MTV award show. It's being billed by the network as an "explosive finale."
The first single from the project is titled "Love Lockdown" and is set to be released on iTunes on Monday (September 8).
